A barrel-aged treat that feels perfect for this time of year. A hearty winter ale blend that rested in Heaven Hill (10-year) barrels for 20-24 months and was then conditioned atop raw and toasted coconut, and cinnamon. The base beer brings out all of those rich praline, burnt sugar, and dried fruit notes and complements the oaky backbone with ease. We choose raw and toasted coconut for deep flavor saturation to mimic barrel character and give the beer some hefty weight on the tongue. The coconut eventually fades to a curtain closure of cinnamon, molasses, and deep winter woes.
